i'm in total agreement with JonR - it's these little touches that make a bike worth riding... they keep my c2 hoses behaving themselves perfectly, and it means that i'm not up to my arse in cable ties, which makes a wonderful change...
yes, they're not easy to set up when you get them out of the box, but if you stand back and think about it for about thirty seconds, you'll see that it's not very complex, and is a very tidy solution.
These are really handy if you only have cable guides on your frame & no hose guides. I was never happy with the hose routing when I had disc brakes fitted to my trusty old Ellsworth Isis, which I'm currently rebuilding. With these guides I can now route the hose more 'neatly' alongside my gear cables & with no need for botched DIY cable guides or zip ties. Maybe a bit pricey for what they are but now I've fitted them to my old style cable guides I can see that they are invaluable & look nice a professional as well. A simple but very worthwhile little gadget.
I have complete outer runs for my rear mech to avoid ghost shifting on yeti asr-c.
Good for the top tube - nothing hard about fitting them.
No good for seat stay cable fixing though, thats why they are called top tube cable guides. Dissapointed that I will still have cable ties on my superbike!
