X-Tools Star Nut Installer
The X-Tools star nut installer is a well thought out tool by bikers for bikers. No more hitting your fingers with a hammer as you try to install the star nut, simply thread the nut onto the internal bar, feed the bar through the outer sleeve and place over your steer tube and tap in with a hammer. Suitable for 1" & 1 1/8" steer tubes.
Yeah, so I could have just used a conveniently-sized socket and a hammer but at £12 thought I might as well get the right tool! After all, if you want the headset to last you need to make absolutely sure the nut goes in straight...
Did the job just fine, seems well built enough but then unless you service bikes for a living you it shouldn't have too hard a life anyway!
