Expensive yes and I thought long and hard before parting with my cash for this frame, but man am I glad I did!
Probably the best all-mountain hardtail, dirt jump, trailsy freeridey whatever rig. I use it for pretty much everything, have owned it for three months now and my skills have come a long way since I took delivery of it. Inspires confidence as it absolutely rocks on the way down, devours singletrack and even seems unusually stable in the air.
I've been raving about this frame to the guys I ride with and they've all had a blast and agree with me - for 95% of UK riding this is a balls out blast of a bike. It's no 9" travel DH rig so suffers on really rocky descents, but any hardtail would. For everything else, the Sovereign is a real joy.
You get what you pay for - I couldn't recommend the Sov highly enough (just don't buy a green one as I wouldn't want to run into anyone with the same rig as me)
Bought one off these guys about 4 weeks ago and this bike is bloody awesome. I have NEVER ridden an mtb that rides as sweet as this in over ten years of mountainbiking. Back end is well compliant, it's super manouvreable, low centre of gravity, stable at speed and in the air, and the paint job is amazing.
I honestly would say this is probably the best hardtail frame in the world!!!
Have to agree with the others here.
A do anything bike that is absolutely awesome. Built mine up with Fox Talas RLC's for a hardcore hard tail type build and have to say it's very impressive. Stiff strong and very chuckable.
Performance wise 5/5 but it's expensive. Can't pay for the amount of fun I've had on it though so deserves a 5/5 overall
