this fender is AWESOME, looks totally sick
only real complaint is that its not meant for a 888, but i really dont like the marzochi fender so went for this, had to bend the bracket ALOT to make it fit, which was really frustrating but was very worth it, im totally clean upfront after a muddy ride and the looks turn heads...when you first put it on takes abit of getting used to, makes the steering seem stiff but that goes after a little while
if you got a 888 dont get it unless you have the risse racing crown set or you are prepared to go through 3 hours of grief...
This fender has excellent performance, if can really be bent in half and it won't care. As durable in cold conditions too (-20C).
The worst thing is that though they say it should fit DH rigs, it won't for ex. fit Marzocchi wide crowns !
Had to make the metal bar myself and drill some holes to the plastic parts ! Be Warned !
Works just how it’s meant to and looks class when it’s all shiny and new. However, i had to bend the mount for it to fix on to my forks which then snapped the mount... After welding it back together it works a treat. So as a word of warning it may not fit the chunkier forks without slight modification. Had a lot of experience with lexan that the mudguard is made out of. It’s used as bodies in the nitro car industry and it’s pretty much bombproof.
