909 is a tough tire ideal for loose, soft or intermediate soil. 2 Ply configuration suitable for Free Riding; and Downhill, pinch flat bumper for added protection.
Technologies: • 2 Ply casing: Refers to layers of reinforcing fabric in a tire. 2 ply tires are constructed with a dual sidewall for increased durability and flat resistances. • Sticky rubber: Intense's original Sticky Rubber compound is made with a soft 50a durometer but more importantly with very slow rebound. • PFB: Pinch Flat Bumper is a lightweight foam-like chemical added between the bead and the tread to reduce chances of pinch flatting. • Folding bead: By using strands of Aramid Kevlar® fibers in the bead the weight of the tire is reduced and the tire can be folded. • SR: Dual Compound tires combine SR compound on the sides of the tire and C3 in the center treads.
When conditions are too much for the Zero, the 909 is the tire to turn to. I've used this tire in both powder, gravel, on and off the race track and it's a legend. The super sticky compound helps it stick like glue and the weight makes it stable in the air. I'd gladly spend the money on this tire over and over again-if it ever wore out that is.
i had a set of high rollers on my orange 224 and they were very good indeed but in lose stuff or in very fast turns i was losing the front quite a lot,so i slapped these bad boys on and these stick like s*** to a blanket they are awsome for grip and feel.they might be a little on the heavy side but that does make the bike very stable but a little slower to turn,also they dont roll quite as well as a high roller but they make up for it in outright grip,in all i was well happy and any one who complains they are to pricey is a c**k. buy these now they are gravy!!!!!!
this tyre really boosts your confidence, its so grippy! only downside is for when your not riding downhill, man do these nacker you out on the uphill roads! but hey there designed this way and are the best tyre ive used yet.
