I bought these pedals beacause of 3 reasons. Sealed bearings, Very cheep and the fact that you screw in the pins through the pedal, so you allwas will get them out.
The first day I used them, 2 pins from the right pedal fell off, but thats the only bad thing that so far. As far as first inpression goes they are awesome, especially for this price. The bearings are super smooth, platforms are nice and big but unfortuently they have a kind of high profile, but you can't have everything right? ;)
Two days ago while rideing on my downhill-trail a rock was bumming me out every run, it was in a liitle steep and the damn rock laid in the mittle of it, so I got the great idea to try to jump from the little ledge where the steep started and over the rock, but that didn't turn out so great. First I laied down and waited till I could walk again, and after that I checked my bike.
I looked down and said to myself, damn the new f*cking pedal is bent, so i decided to measure how long i would have needed to jump, and it was 8 meters. When i came home and started to remove the pedal from the crank i realised that the pedal was as good as new, but inte was the crank that was broken.
Thats kind of strong for a pedal i must say, when the crank goes down before the pedal, you know you've got GREAT PEDALS.
