Make no mistake - this is a hefty bit of kit, but it really is the lock against which all others are judged. It's protected my Orange Patriot (£2000+) worth at some pretty dodgy stations. Thieves see the yellow clasp and just walk on by. Despite B's advice, I wouldn't leave it where I intend to lock my bike as it only takes one scumbag to squirt superglue in the keyhole and you're left without any protection. Thoroughly recommended piece of kit!

Without a doubt, one of the finest locks money can buy. I have used this lock for around 3 years, and have left it in place with NO CLEANING whatsoever, and it still works perfectly after 2 years of facing every element in new zealand- cold, rain, snow, sun whatever, its still alive. I took it home and regreased and lubricated everything, it still works perfectly. A thief did try to remove it, but only got as far as cutting through the plastic cover on the D, and gave up. Perfect piece of kit, if you are looking for the ultimate lock, this is it.

I've had this lock three years during which it has spend a lot of it's time outside in the Irish rain and it's still working perfectly.

It's obviously very heavy, that's unavoidable, but the bracket is pretty poor. It was difficult to use from the very beginning and has long since stopped holding the lock reliably.

I carry it in my backpack now and I think that's more suitable anyway as it's rather a lot of weight to have rigidly attached to the frame.

Overall though, I'm very happy with it.
