Very good Mech! Very light with great shifiting, Easy to setup just read the manual.
Have found this does go best with XTR Shifters.
My reasoning is:
As there is no tension adjuster on the mech all adjustments need to be made on the shifter. Ive found that with XTR shifter you can fine tune the rear mech very easy.

** Note: if you are running 3 chainrings at the front and 9 speed on the back you will require a "Long Cage" most bike shops say a medium cage will be ok. Trust me you need a long, I found out the hard way!

Used this for about about 1 year now, have had to make some adjustments on the shifters to take up the slack from the cable stretch, other than that it has been left alone. Combined with XTR shifters this is the best set up i have run, far more reliable than the X9/X0 i was previously running. Smooth shifting and quiet. Highly recommended.

Great rear mech, put them on a month ago, works brilliantly under load love slick light change best use XTR shifter pods due to lack of adjustment oon the mech itself. I have to say changing up and down under load i have not used anything better, was quite easy to set up, I have an all mountain rig so not too worried about weight but when i picked up the box i thought it was very light, looks and feels well made, hope it lasts rthe distance.
