Got mine from another retailer and now I'm p*ssed since I could have saved some serious euros by getting it from CRC :/ ...live and learn.
But as a helmet, this is The One for me. I have had many helmets over the years and this I actually think is one the best I've owned. Good fitting, light, superb airflow. What's not to like? Well, it could give me a head massage when lying in the tub after a hard riding session... ;)
And what goes to back part breaking easily when falling/dropping a helmet as someone stated above...well my man/girl, You DO NOT use the helmet if You fall and hit it somewhere or just accidentaly drop it to a hard surface so that it may receive some (maybe not externally visible) damage, right ;)
In terms of sizing, I think it's perfect for me. I've got a massive heid yet I can still wear the large one with a merino skullcap and have plenty of space in it.
Ventilation is good and it's pretty light.
Only reason I saw this page is because I crashed hard on it and need to replace it and I'd definitely buy the same again.
I bought this helmet to replace my aged (1999)Parrabellum, also from Met. Nice and very light helmet; sits lower on your head than my old model, and the mat black looks v.cool. My only reservations are as follows: - The airflow could be better, especially compared to my 8 year old helmet from the same manufacturer - The rear straps aren't threaded through the rear size adjuster, and you therefore end up spending the first few minutes getting them to sit correctly. - You can't adjust the visor. - THE SIZING!!! It's a bit small in the width compared to Met's older models. Consider going up a size.
