I've got these Minis, the Monos and the Mono M4 brakes on three seperate bikes.
Hands Down NO contest. I have bent or warped every disc except these Mini Gothic Discs and these also get rid of the debris better than the others.
Top Disc.....such a pity that I can't interchange.
I have got the Mono Mini brakes on one of my bikes and the old (this type) Mini brakes on the other.
Make no mistakes... this is a much, much better disc rotor than the Mono one. The design means it is more robust and less likely to bend or warp and it brushes off debris too. Because of the size it keeps cool better than any disc that Hope make apart from the ones with a floating aluminium spider...( and what a cost for those....ouch!!)
Oh if only Hope had put this rotor on the Mono Mini it would be a great brake.
Big enough not to bend when you crash, substantial enough not to warp if it gets extra hot....but it doesn't get extra hot because it's big enough to keep cool and the wavy design means it clears debris very well.
This is the best rotor that Hope ever made.
