I was struggling with punctures before I bought these tubes. I also bought new schwalbe tyres so I am sure both have helped but the tubes have certainly played their part. I had my first pucture yesterday at least 4000km later. One thing I can say for certain is that they hold the air pressure noticeably longer than previous tubes that I have used.
I bought one of these the week before CRC sale for £3.99 and was happy with that. For £2 in their sale I have got a few more - an absolute steal. Easy to fit and a lot better made than certain other tubes. The valve doesn't have a retaining washer but IMO that doesn't matter. Make sure you grease the valve nut so it doesn't seize up.
3 x kids, 8 x bikes,(track, road and training) all do competition, thousands of kilometres covered, only tubes I use. Rotate tubes and tyres (Michy pro 3s, over 3000kms on last set) from competition bikes to training bikes every season. Never had a tube or tyre failure and only 1 punture that i remember.
