I bought a pair of these, considering they come with pads worth £13 its stonkin value!
Run a 185 up front and a 160 rear, these give super modulation at the lever, with consistant braking power, though in the wet they need a good squeeze to disperse the water, but after that they're back on to top form. Have run xtr brakes for 4 years now and they have been problem free.

bought these (CRC £30 ea!!! blinding value) and coupled them to XT hoses and M535 levers. Not difficult to fit - only had issues finding the correct spacers to centre the caliper to the rotor; spacers supplied are naff).
They look the business and the resin pads (that come FREE!!) are great. Awesome stopping power.
XTR has long been the benchmark for MTB stuff - now i can see why.
