The gloves have only just came through the door so I'm writing this on first impressions. First off, the gloves look the mutts nuts and the red stitching is a nice touch. The glove seems to fit well (I got the small) and the 'Breathable Airprene cuff' (wetsuit-like material) is realy comfy with a sturdy looking velcro strap. The flexible spandura construction lives up to Oakleys claim as they don't restrict movement. The leather panel reinforcement on the knuckles look but are quite soft - they look and feel like they could easily be torn in a fall, especially because they are perferated all over, weakening the surface. There is a mesh-like material on the sides of the fingers which acts like an air vent making the gloves very breathable. The light grey spandex pannel on the back is much bigger than it looks in the picture and is very stretchy and flexible. When you bend yous wrist backwards this acts like elastic and gathers in the material, stopping it from bunching up.The finger tip grippers are OK but could be better. Most of the palm is thin clarino which is a synthetic leather-like substance. It bunches slightly and is slightly thin but gives a direct feel on the bars. The 2mm foam padding on blister-prone areas of the palm are spongey and comfortable. This is a brilliant glove for the price, it looks sweet and I'd definately recommend it. 5 stars.
These are really light and comfortable. Keeps your hand pretty cool and dry on a warm day but you will feel the chill on a cold day so there aren't meant for the winter!
Also, don't ever make the mistake of washing them. The leather bits will shrink down a size! And will pretty much ruin the gloves...
