i have had these brakes for about 2 months now and i really like them. I am running a avid g2 185mm rotor on the front and a avid g2 160mm rotor on the back and that is plenty...trust me! I expected an ok brake for the money but the power in these brakes is quite astonishing i am 15 years old and weigh about 60kg and the front one stopps me quick with my middle finger...if i pull a little harder with my middle finger i'd go over the handle bars.. the rear one is the same amount of power but with being the rear just skids! Also a very easy set up and easy bleeding (you will need the Avid bleed kit usually £10 or something) and various adapter depending on size of rotor and fork mount. The only fault with these brakes is that if you get them drenched in mud and water the sound like scalded monkeys but when your just out in the mud there fine and stop sqeeking once you have washed them down with the hose pipe a little over all the avid juicy 5 is exactly the same as the 7 apart from the 7 you can ajust the reach on the pads this is not needed at all i use these for light free ride and love them !!
