The TRK line is the basic model in the Strike Series. Made for those on a budget who still want the protections and comfort from what Selle has to offer. Selle SMP's patented STRIKE saddle arises from extensive studies conducted which analyzed the different positions assumed by a cyclist in the various phases of a ride and the constant interaction between the body and saddle. The central channel of the saddle varies in width to contour the body and allow continuous circulation of blood flow. The design of the outer mid-section is shaped to follow your thigh muscles to maximize blood circulation and pedaling power.

I've tried three saddles on my bike and this is by far the cheapest and the best! It is really comfy, and you really do sit on your sit bones rather than your c**k (to use the vernacular!). It was only 100 grams heavier than my previous saddle but far more comfy and less than half the price. I would really recommend this saddle to anyone riding long distances (I do a lot of XC riding).
The only downside is that the nose is quite wide and might be uncomforable for some riders.
I have very slim hips (30" waist) and my sit-bones are just perfectly positioned on the two "buns" at the back of the saddle and so the only caveat I can imagine is that it might be an *UN*comfortable saddle if you are a big man, with a big pelvis.
Definetely the way to go for next gen saddles! Don't be fooled by the unusual shaping, considering the pricing these saddles are a total bargain! Is a whole new appraoch so it'll take some time to get used to it and probably you'll have to play a bit with tilt and distance, due to the unusual profile it takes few trials and errors to get the correct positioning...but once you get it you'll realize how better is the weight and pressure distribution compared to even the most performing (and expensive) traditional saddle. PROS:ridicoulosly comfy, great weight distribution (you'll feel much more "centered" on your bike), surprisingly that odd curved nose is no match to conventional seats on steep climbing, CONS: not really heavy but sure there are lightest options (tho i doubt at this price), the aft is quite bulky and large hence sometimes on steep tecnical descents it may get a bit in the way, not a real obstacles for body movement but i think depends on your shorts sizing.
This saddle has a problem, and that is the overall look. If you can get passed this and just try it, then you will find that it is the most comfortable bicycle saddle that youve ever sat on. I realize that for the pleasure cyclist that thirty quid for a saddle is alot of money, however the money invested will be repaid in comfort time and time again. I really have never been able to do more than about 20miles before the circulation has ceased in the bottom half of my body,i have a disability which means that i cant take the weight off my bum when riding, but with this saddle i just want to keep going. Marvellous, and by the way , the gap in the mid saddle area doubles as a very convinient hand hold when lifting your cycle.
