I bought the 700c 35mm black ones. They're great. I've owned two pairs previously and you can expect to get over 20 years service from them in even the worst winter conditions.
As the previous review said, they're a bit fiddly to set up. I assure you that it's well worth the effort. Spend an hour or so assembling the stays and guards together before fitting. The new mounting kit with integral cable caps and stainless bolts is superb. For extra protection, put strips of engineer's tape over the insides of the brackets.
Mudguards don't get better than these. Don't even think about getting cheap ones.
Was a little dubious of putting full guards on my commuter but these things are awesome. A little fiddly to fit but well worth the effort. Drilling the guards is possible with neat results so you can fit in place with only cable ties. (Helped out on my odd cannondale frame..) Totally solid with quality fittings and do not rust or look crap. Much better than all other products I poked in the shops.
Excellent, robust and durable mudguards. Don't know why others found them hard to fit; I put mine on in the street outside the shop - only way to get them home. The rear mudguard top clip (that one bolted to the seat stays) is pretty feeble and I've had to reinforce it. And the brackets on one rear guard gave up about a year after being rear-ended at a junction - but they were bent out of shape and had to be straightened.
