with the 700c/35 combination these look hardly noticable on my urban cannondale. it takes a second look to see that i've actually got mudguards on. really impressed by them once they were finetuned and sitting close to the wheel. make a hell of a difference for day to day commuters. forget those heavy duty looking cr*p catchers style things. These plastic coated aluminium guards are super cool & non rattling for urban use or winter road bike training. the black ones still have silver stays but these can be coloured or sprayed black before starting to fit them. the rear guard goes nice and low on the wheel although the front still lets a bit of mud get on the sloping downtube so some overshoes might be a good idea for wet weather if you're a regular cycle user. overall recommended without hesitation. in fact i bought my dad a set too to replace his old chromoplastic set!

Brilliant, take your time in fitting them correctly and you will never need to touch them again!,I can now ride my MTB commuter with out any wet stuff on me a**e!,also keeps it off front mech etc too so no cleaning of that either!,if you get the black ones they blend in really well with the tyre etc so are barely noticeable you are a geek with mudguards!...buy em and chuck em on!.

Quality product, they look the business. A bit fiddly to fit around disc brakes and trimming the support bars but apart from that they are perfect. Also, the service from Chain Reaction is amazing, email questions answered perfectly and the package and speed of delivery was superb. Highly recommended.
