I own the original Ultimates and they are very good brakes. But to pay an extra £60 just to have the white colour is a total and utter blatant rip-off! It's not just CRC at fault, it's Avids greed too. To change colour from the black to white is a process. They have to use some colour to cover them,so why can white paint cost £60 per brake more! It doesn't. It's just ridiculous and wrong. Buy the Ultimates by all means, an exceptional brake. I've rated the brakes as a brake - hence the 5. For value for money in white they wouldn't get a one.
