Finally our long awaited single speed hub is in production and available. The hub is made of 6061 and 7075 aluminum with an oversized axle and 10 mm CrMo bolts. The driver is a one piece construction made of super strong 7075 aluminum and features 6 double pawls. The one piece construction allows us to use bigger bearings in the driver than most other companies do. We use two 15x28x7 mm bearings that have Cstat=2,24 kN and Cdyn=4,36 kN. Other companies make use of smaller15x24x5 or 12x24x6 bearings with lower Cstat=0, 8/0, 98 kN and lower Cdyn=1,56/2,25 kN which results in a shorter life time. The flanges are spaced symmetrically 35,5 mm from the center line for similar spoke tension on both sides, leading to a stronger wheel. The big diameter of the axle cups gives you a rigid interface with the dropouts. Besides this we took off all unnecessary weight, which leads to a total weight of 449 g (11T), 450 g (12T) and 457 g (14T). These weights include steel bolts, 27 g for each bolt. The hub is designed to work with 3/8" wide chains, 135 mm dropout spacing and comes exclusively with 36 spoke holes.
this hub is soo sweet pretty light for the size the six ,double pick up paws have never slipped and never will it was a bit pricey but well worht it its amaze p.s. 8mm bolts on the back are great it wont move for shiz evan after i s***ty day of casing
This hub is 10 x better than a djd, very good engagement, quite loud and very light. This acutally weighs the claimed weight at 449g where as a pro 2 trials weighs about 460g (with a claimed weight of 430g) and you cant run micro drive gearing on them.
Ich fahre diese Nabe nun schon ein paar Monate und bin damit ganz zufrieden. Der Antrieb knackt ab und zu, ich weis leider nicht ob es an der Nabe liegt. Jedoch ist die Nabe durch Chainreaktioncycles sehr preiswert. Sie ist schön laut und leicht. Der Driver aus Alu vermittelt nicht so gute Haltbarkeit-da beim Kumpel 2 Zähne sich schon verabschiedet haben(er bekam einen neuen Driver auf Kulanz). Aber sollte das passieren werde ich mir einen Stahldriver holen-da sollte es keine Probleme geben. Von wirklich allen Singlespeednaben habe ich mich für diese entschieden.
