perfect protection, very thick yet very applieable and very sticking , besure to clean the frame off and not touch the sticking side at all ( to leave no finger prints ) when applying. With a good pair of sissors/pen i measured and in some cases traced templates and managed to cover the top side of top tube, under side of down tube, rear of seat tube, covered around bottom bracket and used the chain stay sheild on the left hand chain stay ( i use a neoprean one on right hand side) admittedly my bike is a hard tail and i did have to piece the down tube guard but i took my time and all came out real nice with enough left over to cut patches for under cable routeing to.
Excellent frame protection, barley visible when carefully applied. Ensure frame is spotless prior to application (meths is effective) for a long lasting adhesion. Avoid finishing an edge on a tight radius as edges can lift and once unstuck, will never re-stick which generally means removing the whole section.
Used this on seven bikes so far! Its quite thick and protects really well. When you take it off ie to sell the bike, theres no residue - it just peels of easily. Doesn't get five stars from they dont quite give you enough. To cover the down tube and top tube buy one and a half packs. Spend a little time to do the job carefully. Clean the frame with white spirit, get some paper and make a template of the area you want to cover, then use this to cut the frameguard to shape. Apply from the middle of the tube working your way down so its stuck just in the middle. Now smooth it out a bit at a time to the outer edges so theres no air bubbles get trapped. If the top tube varies in shape you may need nick the plastic as it doesn't stretch much - or do the tubes in two halfs.
