Definitely the best tyre levers I've used. The black lever is strong enough to get the most stubborn UST tyres on with out breaking. I've got 2 sets, I've had to replace one set, not through breakage, but 'cause I lost them at Afan (anyone finds them, they're mine !! ;o)
Bottom line..... they don't bend, they don't break, they just work. Get some.
Like most people I had built up a reasonable collection of soft, bendy tyre levers, mainly off the front of magazines. Then I tried to fit some Continental Gators to my sons bike. All cheap flexy levers have now been binned. You will only appreciate these when fitting a 'difficult' tyre and then you will be really glad you made a relatively small investment. Just don't lose 'em!
If you have trouble fitting Dual Ply DH or any wirebead tyre to the rim of your bike then buy these. Worth every penny but best to splash out and buy two pairs. Big Tip is to apply washing up liquis to tyre and rim when fitting. I struggled with normal levers on Maxxis DH DualPly types. Best lever on the market.
