Varying cutout sizes and shapes vastly improve heat dissipation, which in turn greatly reduces heating of the brake fluid creating a consistent braking feel. It also sheds approximately 10g over the G2 Clean Sweep rotor design.

they r an amazing disk.i got thes with my "avid elixir R" and they just seem to go hand and hand they r a very stong disk and r good for whatever bike u wana put them on wether it b dh r cc r xc its all good when u have this disk :)
i dunno how these rotors are supposed to be lighter than G2. a 160 G3 is the same as a 160 G2, 108g and a 185 G3 is actually 9g heavier at 150g. weights compared between my elixir CR's against my old J7's.
