High performance DH, flat pedal shoe helped design by Chris Kovarik. It features a higher inner ankle design for protection against hitting your cranks and a lace cover to keep you laces secure and the muck out.

From the moment you slip on these your feet feel well secure. The size seems pretty good (an 8 is an 8, they seem really well made and protection is top drawer. The ankle protection is good too (raised inside).As soon as your foot hits the pedal its planted. They make you feel as if the bike is part of you - seriously, not that you're just riding on it. You can shift you're weight round on the bike hit roots, rocks etc and corner with just no thought that you're going to lose you footing.The removable lace cover keeps laces out of harms way and they keep out water well. Believe all the hype - THEY ARE THAT GOOD! There is just no need to be clipped in. If you use flats, get five tens - nuff said.
So mine arrived today. I chose them after loooong research and picked them over Impacts only because they provide better protection from elements (rather important in Ireland :-)).
They are actully less bulky then I expected so this is good as I was little afraid I'll look like a pillock in them.
They are roomy. I'd suggest order half size smaller then your normal shoes. I did that and it was a good decision.
I actually did not ride in them yet properly so this is kind of "first impression" review.
Before a ride, I'm very happy with the Karvers.... follow up after a ride.

Voilà j'écris ce post pour aider les riders qui comme moi on galéré longtemps pour connaitre la taille des chaussures five ten. (Vu que les boutiques française n'en ont jamais en magasin !!!).
Pour info mon pied mesure 26 / 26,5 cm à nu.
Mes basket de marque NIKE AIR / AIR MAX / REQUIN taille en 43.
Mes basket de marque ADIDAS STAN SMITH / GOOD YEAR taille en 43 1/2
Mes chaussures de sortie et mes ranger's professionnel taille en 42.
Génial pour devinner sa taille non ?
J'ai donc coupé la poire en deux et j'ai commandé mes five ten en taille 42 1/2.
Elle me vont nickel avec des chaussettes d'épaisseur "normal".
Pour les personnes voulant être bien serré dans ses chaussures, un 42 est possible je pense avec des chaussettes slim.
Sinon niveau confort et qualité c'est un produit exceptionnel !!!
Je fais de l'enduro et elle accroche à merveille mes pédales plates Crank Brothers 5050 par tout les temps.
