I sometimes run 1 a 2.1" on the front for confident steering, or 1 on the back for sure footed climbing and grip. These are fantastic on anything soft or wet. Even in heavy mud, I find I can keep climbing when most people are spinning and walking up hills. Just completed a 3hr enduro race in clay and slop, and I was handling the mud better than most. Highly recommended. Perhaps not the most efficient tyre for hard pack surfaces.
