This is a quality item at a great price. Wore it for 2 days solid around trails in the blazing sun and the vents allowed enough air in to stop me passing out...always a bonus. Very comfortable - peak dosn't really adjust but does the job - the rear fitting system is easy to use and clamps your head safely in place. The Giro Hex does what you want it to and conforms to the higher safety standards - bargain at £40.
Plus points: Cheap (when 47% is knocked off anyway), visor comes down low enough to keep rain off glasses, lots of padding, acid green is a stand-out colour (but not to everyone's taste).
Minus points: Strap is nasty scratchy material, hotter and a little heavier than my old helmet (cost €120+ mind you).
