i hav had these hubs now for 2 months.I am suprised to say that these r the best hubs iv ever had they r light and super smooth and nothing has gone wrong.They r much better then deore. They were a waste of my money. If anyone has deore hubs that hasnt broke them and they do good off-road riding they r s***.

i recently bought this from my local bike shop i have had a trail pimp with dt swiss built up ITS SWEEET i had to upgrade because m basicly destroyed my old deore just riding at the front (the sk8 park) YOU CAN FEEL the difference it runs much smother than the old deore and much stronger plus the weight dif is tiny i recomened thito any 1 who wants a great riding hub and amazing looker

Bought and fitted Feb 2004. I have ridden around 30 x 25- 30 mile rides about 30% on road and mainly in the winter. The bike is preasure washed with due care for seals.

The hub is still in good condition although the freewheel no longer wherrs like it did when new.
The original specialized free wheel let go in the garentee period and the replacement only lasted another 12 months with the same use.
So although I'd like a Hope hub I may well buy another XT when this one is US.
