Bought a road bike but living in mhilly Yorkshire found the twin chainset and rear gear ratios 26-12 were restrictive so I changed to this. It gave me 28 teeth which was as much as the standard derailleur would allow but also gave me 11 teeth to help with pedalling on the flats. Does the job well. Shimano block ran a bit smoother but for the improved ratios it suits me.
Nice easy fit due to loading spool and seems to shift just as well as the Shimano that came off. 11-28 is a bit of a stretch for a standard 105 rear mech but winding in the B-tension screw and running the chain tight has reduced a lot of the initial jockey wheel noise.
