had them 9 months. fit and forget: have LX v's also. before I was always adjusting. not now. pretty good in the wet. pads last well. bit worried about the strength of the weak looking levers to take knocks; they have survived no problem: clearly they are up to it. just rotate the tension screw as the pads wear. really well engineered: compared with other bits from the same manufacturer.
An excellent pair of levers. The entire LX range seems really really well thought out. Instead of attatching the brake cable inside the lever, it carries on up to the lever blade and clamps on underneith; then there is a switch on the lever to adjust the leverage you have, depending on how you like your brakes to feel.
The shape of the lever blade is also very nice for 1 of 2 fingers (i use 1). And i use these levers for trials, so if you want sharp brakes, go for these (matched with the BRILLIANT LX brakes).
