The optimal competition tyre. Still hungry for success, it has a new tread design and Triple Nano Compound. Cuts like a knife through the toughest terrain. More aggressive too: Holds a tight line in curves with its new sharks-tooth U-Blocks.
High Density – High Density guard is a unique puncture protection technology only available from Schwalbe. It has been jointly developed in co-operation with American firm Warwick Mills. Warwick is a specialised maker of high density fabrics and holds 14 internal patents for its weaving technology. No other bicycle tire protection belt is a density woven and this technology makes it possible to make a tyre that is both light in weight and with an extraordinary high level of puncture resistance.
Ceramic. Additional ceramic coating. Small pieces of glass that remain embedded in the tire and slowly cut their way through a protection belt are now stopped by the tough, ceramic particles that blunt the edges of the glass preventing its destructive migration.
Puncture protection; Standard tires have an effective puncture protection belt made of natural rubber. The new, doubled and dense 50 EPI carcass has improved puncture protection.

I bought these in 26 X 2.1, expecting to get a slightly fat, standard 2.1 size. In fact, they're the equivalent of a standard 1.95. The only way to measure 2.1 is by flattening the tyre and measuring between the outer edge of the side knobs. Great performance apart from that but if you need the width to handle the conditions, you need to be aware of this.
Накатистая, но не очень цепкая на щебне резина. Быстро изнашивается. Для гонок, не для горных походов. Слишком быстро съедается протектор. Действительно не прокалывается.
