Flat pedal enthusiasts rejoice! We've created a shoe that not only performs on the bike, but looks good enough to be worn off of it. Flats, platforms, whatever you call your traditional BMX-style pedals, the Gravel shoes will stick to them like glue, thanks to our custom-designed TRAX rubber outsole featuring our WaffleGrip tread pattern. The Vanslite midsole will keep the weight down and the comfort level high all day, while the Impactsorb heel insert will prevent any heel bruising. The entire upper is wrapped in abrasive-resistant synthetic materials that also repel water. A reflective sidestripe and woven labels top off the details.

| Been riding in five tens for a while & simply fancied a change cause everybody wears five tens. Was a bit unsure of what I was gonna get but the haven't dissappointed. They're really comfy & as grippy as the stealth rubber. And to top it off they look pretty cool too. Worth waiting for CRC to get stock! |

| After using the same model Vans for 15 years I took a long time to find a pair of flatties I like to replace my favorite vans, but these are them for sure. Been using them for 8 months now, Still stiff, but still bags of feel for knowing where your weight is on your pedals (crucial)!spot on grip over all..too grippy at the start but settled in perfect now. The thing is that amazes me is how light they feel on my feet.... and also how dry and warm they have kept my feet when I got caught out by bad weather. Half sizes are available so you can run them tight more like a cycle shoe than a trainer/ .... Brilliant. GLC riding the trails since 82. |

| been riding these for a about 18 months now and totally impressed by them. i've ridden vans for years, going back to bmx in the early 80s, and i was wanting to try a change from SPDs which i'd started to ride. was looking at five tens, but didn't really like any of them and thought i'd check out the gravels. they stick to the pedals so much, but you can lift your foot from the pedals whenever you want, or need to, but still have the same riding feel as regular vans, despite having a stiffer sole, which i absolutely love. even though there are two breathe holes on the inside of the shoes and several dabs into what turned out,(on more than one occaision), to be deep watery mud, the only times my feet have gotten wet is from water ingress from over the top of the ankle when fully submerged thanks to the rubberised finish all over the shoe. i wear with wool socks and haven't had cold feet at anytime on any ride, even on top of deadwater fell at kielder atthe new year. they were a bit stiff across the toes when walking when they were new, but after 2 rides they became supple enough to not cause any discomfort. absolutely ace shoes! |
