I wear this protection jacket for nearly one year and I'm very satisfied. It fits very well thanks to its great adjustability and the protection is quiet good, specially in the arm-, shoulder- and spine-area. The back-protector can be worn on its own. For me (1,91m and 85kg) large is the right size.

Used this armour whilst getting into downhill, fell off several times, protected my shoulders & elbows incredibly well, on one occasion I went over handle bars landing on my chest onto a rock, I weigh 110kg so you can imagine the impact, I was winded, but un-injured, I would have been in hospital without it. Fits very well, good ventilation & comfortable. Price is good too.

Having discovered some mtb trails where I live, I felt I needed a bit more protection against trees / large rocks etc.

I mainly do XC rather than DH to it's always a good sign when you wear something and then forget it's even there.

Venting is great and even in October I managed to get away with wearing a long sleeve Endura high wicking t-shirt underneath and still felt warm. Although I'll soon be adding an Endura base layer for extra heat.

There's plenty of room for adjustment and I can even fit my softshell jacket on top of the armour.

So for anyone wanting extra armour that can be used for XC or DH without looking / feeling like a power ranger, this is ideal.

I have a 34" waist and I'm 6 foot 1 and a half inches and the large was perfect.
