Mint - Mint - Mint. Brought these gloves, as they seem to be getting good reviews off this forum. When I saw them on offer 3 for 2 I got two pairs for me and one for the other-half. As everybody is saying on here, go for the next size up, my missus has very small hands and I took a chance on the medium and they are perfect, she loves them as they keep her hands warm and that means less moaning. For me they are excellent, comfy, warm, quality is excellent for the price, although even at the RRP of £29.99 they are good, well done CR for the discounted price. They aren't orange and blue either, but yellow and black, but they look ace, as the quality is good.
Someone said on here they trouble with washing them, if you take your hands out carefully so as not to pull the lining out they are usually ok, but failing that use a clothe peg on each finger tip and stick them in a small laundry bag, no problems then. As far as waterproofing goes, cant say yet as I aint been caught in a down pour, but thick fog I have been caught in and my hands stayed lovely and warm. Not for summer riding as hand will get tooooo sweaty. Best buy of the year for me J
I might buy some more on 3 for 2 as Xmas presents J
Great gloves. Dry even after a gale storm!
The inner-liner does make it restrictive at 1st but once worn in (week of cycling to work) it was fine. I did order a medium and a large size... large size is a bit too long in the fingers.
My hand measurements:
Hand Breadth : 9cm
Index Finger Length: 7.5cm
Middle Finger Length : 8cm
Hand Length :19cm
Good Stitching and materials
Worn these gloves all winter and although they come up slightly small they keep your hands warm and dry. The only reason they get a 4 and not a 5 is that once you take them off and try to put them back on the lining tends to bunch up and it takes a while to get them comfotable again appart from that I've no complaints especially for tha price.
