I took these bad boys to Wales with me 'cause i like to take my feet off the pedels when flying around tight corners, but hate how i cant get clipped back in. These peddles solved this with style. I can unclip without thinking and just put my foot back on to peddle straight out of the corner, clipped back in! Can also ride without spd's and it feels fine.Look sweet as well!
Nice Chunky looking pedal and surprising light-weight.
First SPD/Clip-in pedasl I have used and have found them very easy to clip-in to (after loosening them). After 15 minutes I was clipping into them without trying.
Initially before loosening they were impossible to get into. I had to put these on the most loose setting possible which I found to be around 5 part-turns/clicks of the tuning screw. (I weigh 13 stone if thats relevant). No mishaps unclipping as yet.
Clipless, flats, and toe clips. Tried them all. By now I've gone beyond hype and believe that a careful read of reviews, personal tastes, and riding style really dictate what you need. So I think these are the best for me because they're easy in, easy out and safe to use as a flat in tricky situations. Solid, gives confidence and overall the best clipless I've used. I also use flat handlebars which makes me a bit of a non hype sort I guess. Hope this helps.
