I've had these for around three months so far and they've put up nicely with clumsy 95kg - the front has a very tiny wobble after bouncing off a rock but it's a lot less than I was expecting tbh.
The only downside so far is the that I've just has to replace the front bearings. OK, you can buy a new set for ~£20 but they're not what I'd call durable. Will be packing the new bearings with plenty of thick marine grease to stop water getting in.
Haven't replaced the rear but will be ordering a new set of bearings to be safe.
got these for 150 after sale and quid co 3percent.come with stans tape already fitted.presta valves and goo.at this price serious bargain.not wrth retail.woild have hopes instead.but for 150 brillianr
Ive been riding these on a 26" steel ht with 5.5" of travel up front with the 15mm axel for 2 months. so far so good, at 50% off they are tough to beat for overall value proposition-- lightish, average engagement, seem to be durable and not too much $. I would not pay full retail, id go custom first. the stan's kit is a nice touch and if your replacing tubed wheels, the additional tube weight loss is another weight saving bonus-- i took the stickers off and they look better i think, maybe im a snob.
