SixSIxOne is pushing product development to the limits to build the new Sub Short Body Protection that exceed the standards within the Mountain bike industries. Our designers incorporate the newest technology to provide quality products that excel in comfort and protection.
Key Technologies for the 661 Sub Shorts:
Power stretch fabric: Our Power Stretch fabric is a specific polyester blend that helps wick away moisture, and cool the rider with its evaporative properties. The material performs better than traditional pressure suit materials because of its moisture management capabilities.
Side zip panel: Side zip paneling allows the chest piece of a pressure suit to be one piece. That one piece has the ability to do a better job of protecting the vital zone of the chest including the sternum.
T661 Sub Shorts Specifications:
Compression fit, breathable fabric construction improves blood flow and boosts muscle recovery.
Anatomical EVA pads offer full coverage of hip, thigh, and tailbone areas.
Extra wide elasticized waist band.

These shorts fit really well, the fabric is superb! The only thing is that for some reason the stitches keep ripping, just sounds like it when you stretch them, not that anything has ripped so far, but i`ve only had them for a couple of weeks.
Just brilliant! I feel so comfortable in them. Has some tailbone/side protection, which is rather thick. Hasn't tested it yet :) These shorts doesn't have any butt cushioning, but somehow I feel less bumps while riding in saddle! Truly amazing.
Pads are actually a bit thinner then they seem in the picture, shorts almost weight nothing and are made from a cool elastic spandex like material that doesn't heat up very much when riding. After a few months the fabric seems to be grinding off around the pads but is still fine. Good for XC, All mountain or enduro, but a little weak for a DH crash.
