A great mask but i only use it so i dont get muck in my face when im downhilling. The two problems are the facts that if you sit still for too long it will put condensation all over your face and its a bit pricy but all in all a great mask!!!
I use this mask to cycle to university. Adds about 15% in work rate, if cycling hard. Keeps fumes out from those nasty tail pipes and reminds drivers that you mean business when they see you in the mirror. I'd get a large next time as the medium is quite small for me and can slip down when cycling hard. Also the medium can become uncomftable after an hours ride.
I own the medium Respro City Mask. I agree that it increases the cycling workload and would even say it is greater than 15% maybe 30-40% but that's just my own estimation.
My mask does tend to slip down and the metal nose clasp rides up above the neoprene at times making it uncomfortable. Maybe the larger size would be better.
In terms of its filtering capability, it seems to work well.
