The MICHELIN PRO4 Service Course delivers the best trade-off between sports performance and long tire life. The achievement of the engineers is to have simultaneously enhanced its speed, safety, agility and resistance. The MICHELIN PRO4 Service Course is not only safer but it is also an average 16 percent faster when cornering on wet road surfaces*.
These improvements were achieved thanks to its optimized dual-compound technology which features:
Wider lateral bands for optimal grip at all angles of lean.
New compounds incorporating new elastomers and silica for extra grip at the shoulders.

super grip from these tyres, you can trow the bike into a corner knowing the tyres will hang on. They really inspire confidence and allow you to push hard on fast decents. The compound is verynhard wearing with no cracks or slits after a few hundred miles. The red look fantastic too somhily reccommended. They are a little pricey, but you cant have a 4k bike and put 10quid tyres on it.
Bought these tyres to try to ease my 80km commute (only twice a week). Well they did (fast rolling / confirmed while cycling downhill alongside other cyclist) and the other very noticeable differences with my previous tyres (Vittoria Rubino - cheap but/and excellent for commuting / indestructible) is the grip and comfort. Those tyres inspire confidence. It is like being on a rail. They feel a bit like latex / very soft and gummy and dampen everything. I have had only a very small cut so far (500km). No flat. I have no doubt that they won't last as long as the Rubinos but unless some dramatic failure in the meantime, my next set will be Michelin's.
Bought these tires because I was going to a training camp in Italy. I could really feel the grip (especially in hairpins and sharp U-turns, they actually made me feel more secure - no "squealing" sounds in sharp turns) - and the low rolling resistance! Amazing tires! and 205 grams is quite good as well! The only bad thing I can find is the durability - they wear up pretty quick, but using them for training as I did (in Denmark...) isn´t what they are made for - they are made for racing!
So buy them if you do a lot of mountains (in the alps for example) - because of the grip OR as a racing tire! I can highly recommend!!! :-)
