I love these little stubbies. I'm a bike courier and ride all day long up and down hills and these make my life easier. They are small enough so that my hands naturally curl around them to get better leverage on the handlebars. If you like bar ends but don't need all that extra length that most of them have, then grab a set of these puppies.
I do most of my riding on the road or woodland tracks so I can't comment for hardcore off-roaders but these were comfortable and unobtrusive. Hills were made easier and on the flat my hands naturally wanted to take up the new position these allowed. An already good bike was made even better !
I like these - they are small (don't get in the way), comfortable and light. To be honest, unless your really like something big to grab these will be fine. Only thing is I think their a bit overpriced for what they are.
