I have owned a pair of these for 12mths now and at first i found them really strange and kept making silly mistakes - expecting the forks to compress when they stayed rigid etc.
They are a slightly different fork to what i am used to, but i basically see them as a plusher version of the RS Reba with an actual lockout. Tim Flooks will custom tune them for you and add a better seal, but they are easy to tune anyway if you know what you're doing. Regular service is required, but no worse than any other Fox or RS fork out there.
Its a marmite thing, but if you are willing to learn how to cope with the inertia valve they are great. I personally think the F100X is a better fork.
I'm not that impressed with this for the price. Whilst I accept that the performance is very good I feel that the finish...which scratches very easily... and the very high cost of this fork, together with the maintenance schedule mean that I expect it to be more than very good I expect it to be exceptional and it is not.
The fork just soakes up bouce after bounce, while the terralogice [once cet up properly] means you can really dig in up climbs without the usual bobbing of the front end.
