these brakes are amazing!!...WHEN THEY ARE WORKING..but when they brake my god do they brake beware do not buy these if you rag your components i have owned these for 6 months and have already sent them back and been charged my left bollock for new parts!!
Yes, these brakes are very light and have reviewed very well with the mags/websites etc, but I've had these for about 25 days worth of dry(!) riding and am not impressed. They have considerably less power than the XT's on my trailbike. The rear brake does more squeaking than stopping. Bleeding, changing pads, cleaning the rotor with rubbing alcohol etc don't seem to help. The modulation is OK, I guess, but the power is just not good enough. Maybe I just got a dud set, but I've had enough of the issues and am upgrading to Saints.
