Sure they are expensive but in this case you get what you pay for. Well made and you don't need special skills when it comes to servicing them; cartridge bearings make it an easy process. I've replaced bearings on the front and rear once in four years (mine are old style bulbs...).
Buy this hub as I have been riding with this hub five years now and still going hard on it, the weight and strengh is great as I have 2 bulbs on my Santa Cruz V10,Orange Missile and Orange Gringo because you can use bulbs for everything.
Absolutely brilliant. weight to strength ratio is outstanding. buy these you could never be disappointed. can use for every type of riding - EXCEPT THE REAR FOR TRIALS. If you use the rear for trials you WILL brake the free wheel. you have been warned.
