The tubular chromoly X-Drive offers the ultimate in bombproof strength. It’s strength doesn’t just come from its arms, The Ultimax DH bottom bracket (included) features 4 cartridge bearings and a solid 19mm oversized cromoly spindle. Along with the super thick, super strong CNC machined Bash ring and 22t, 32t chainrings, if your into Dual Slalom, DH, Dirt Jumping and any other type of abusive riding, this is what the X-Drive is made for.
Features:
• Tubular 4130 Welded Cromoly crankarms • 7075/T6 Spider, 4-Arm, 104/64mm bolt circle • Precision CNC machined 6061/T6 5mm Bash Ring • 7075/T6 Stamped 32 tooth middle ring, pinned and ramped • Steel 22 Tooth inner chainring • Chromoly chainring bolts • Spindle is 19mm with 48 tooth spline • Four Sealed Cartridge Bearings • Adjustable Chainline
Very good value, includes cranks, BB, BB tool, crank fitting tool, spider, spacers and chainring bolts. Spider can take granny, middle and bash/outer ring so the setup is very adaptable. The only thing they don't have is a one-key release, like DMR chieftan IIs.
All parts are nicely finished and not as heavy as some 3pc cranks. Can't comment on durability yet.
Awsome cranks been running these for about 2 years. I ride DH and have had no problams at all ive got the shorter ones though as they give more clearance round corners e.t.c but that is really personal preference little bit expensive but an awsome cranks
These cranks are well worth the price. I havnt gone that big yet but hey really feel solid a bit on the heavy side though (about 3kg) the biggest minus is the loss of instructions, you have to figure out how to install them yourself but otherwise they're a pair of ace cranks
