First experience of suspension forks and very impressed. Beautifully machined crown and brace, but the stickers look a bit cheap. Performance buttery smooth so far (2 months) with no maintenance and a few really muddy rides/XC races. Flex a bit when turning sharply so the blocks rub (with V-brakes) but handle well when cornering. Great value for money.
Bought a used MX comp -03 from some random dude because my sherman had broke and i got this one cheap. After using it a while i have to say its the very best fork i have ever had. Not quite as smooth damping as my sherman but close enough. And it never bottoms ut, like my sherman did all the time.
I use it for messy downhill courses (when my downhill bike is out of order), heavy street, dirt jumping, and anything else i feel like doing. No other fork has lasted me more than 4 month's of riding (besides my -03 dirtjumper which lasted one full year). The last two years i have wasted 5 forks, 3 of them way to expensive...
All this at that weight and price! buy one now! I will as soon as this one snaps (bound to happen some time, i'm a real abuser and it's only 30mm stancions)
ive put them on now n they are sweeeeeeet!!! yesterday i was doing a 4m long jump n they are soooo smooth n didn't bottom out once. also taken them to some dirt jumps and a 4x track n they have been plush and smooth all the way. Bloody light though it took me a while to get used to them cos my old forks were stance stantics which were alot heavier yer but their badass get some!
