Wall / Ground Anchor
Hardened steel bolt-down anchor for floors and walls.
Decent heavy duty piece of kit. Bolts require a pretty large 16mm masonry bit to provide the right fitting holes. A pair of ball bearings are supplied to tap into the hex heads. Once they're in, the're in and stop the heads from being drilled off. It helps me sleep wall at night, that's what counts. Just don't expect to get the thing off without chiseling out the breeze block it's attached to! Great price too.
i have 2 in my garage for my xc bikes.I used an SDS drill to fit them but a reg. hammer action will do fine so long as it accepts 16 mm bits.Hammer in the bearings which can be tricky and the fixings are very secure,no one is going to get them out.If you want to move them yourself then maybe an angle grinder or drill the entire bolt head off with a smiths drill;so site them carefully lol.
Solid piece of kit, sure it won't stop the most determined thief but if someone breaks into your garage for something else and sees your bike I doubt they will end up leaving with it if you use one of these.
Good piece of mind and for the cost it's good. Ball bearings in the hex heads mean you can't simply unscrew it quickly and a quick getaway is what they want so your pride and joy will probably be left alone especially if you use a beasty motorcycle chain type lock with it.
