First pair of cycle shoes that I have used with cleats, so can't compare to other makes. I have used them for about 10 months and have had no problems so far with straps or cleats coming loose or anything else. They are great for the hot weather due to the large amounts of mesh but let water in if you don't use over shoes, which I have all winter and the nasty tread is great for digging in when you have to get off and push.
Tight fitting shoe but not uncomfortable, if you have wide feet, get the next size up.3 strap system is good on its own,feels very secure. A lot of shoes in this category have straps and laces, absolute bargain at this price for the off road beginner, great shoes for commuting, no scuffing of cleat, perfectly recessed.
