Amazing the amount of light that this device uses. The majority of time, I use it on low power 'cos this provides more than enough coverage for average use on the trail. Turbo mode is only required when riding flat out in the woods, etc. Easily fitted and is handy to use off the bike as well. Weighs only slightly more than my previous 'standard' front light.
Had the light for a week. Couple of rides on the Marin trail and am more than happy. Easy to operate on the move with cold fingers, Light can be adjusted Turbo to Low to get optimum time out of it. Easy recharging with no memory problems. Obviously no cables and didnt get in way. Spot SLED and wide beam SLED give excellent vision. Low power warning gives time to drop to low power for an extra 5-10 mins 'get home time'. Can you justify the money for a bike light? ... Hmmm, yes, no, yes ... I did. - lets see what I think in a year. Improvements? Yes, a small one, a less fiddly mounting system. Still must be the best cable free light out there!
Prior to purchasing the light as $650 aus dollars
landed i thought wow it's a big investment.
Having used it for first time tonight it's nothing short of brillant.
I even rode down a couple of down hill sections in the dark,in which i had only walked down previously
during daylight.
For me only at this stage it gets a big thumbs up.
absolutly stoked.
