Our performance grip was made especially as an upgrade from a typical grip. It is our most economical model but you get all the benefits of the ergon platform. Integrated forged aluminum bar clamp allows infinite adjustability and eliminates twisting of grip once optimum position is achieved.
Size info: • Small is suitable for hands up to size 8 ( small - medium) • Large is suitable for hands above size 8 ( medium – large) • Grip length 130mm
These grips really do work. I've been using them for about 6 weeks now. On a mix of road trips and severe (7 Stanes black run) offroad. Even after an 80 mile road trip and a 50 mile red/black run I had no finger numbness or wrist ache. Better than any gloves I have ever used. They feel a little odd at first but it's not until you start using them that you start to question why all other grips are tubular - you're hands aren't.
It's not often I am moved to write a review but these grips really are one of the best bits on my bike. Everyone should have them!
I have these on my Stumpjumper fully, on my Endorfin rohloff hardtail and on my Cannondale tandem as well as my wifes bike,and would never go back to a normal grips, they are excellent.A good tip is, to use the womans models unless you have very large hands as they become quite bulky with gloves, specially winter gloves.
I bought these a little while ago and wasn't too sure what they would be like. I put them on my Sinfle speed and found them Incredibly comfortable. I personally wouldn't bother with the race series, as there is plenty of room to grab the ends of these grips without the hooks snagging on to trees and branches and throwing you off. Or is that just me??
