Hi all - Well thought this grip was going to cure my pain in me hands but it did it indirectly. I commute to work and XC at weekends. Wanted to pimp my ride at the weekends with these baby's but for the Extreme XC I do they caused problems. Don't usually have bar ends like this and now I remember why, they are very good at trimming the forests of the peak district, they always managed to get full of ferns and bracken, so I wasn't keen on that. Comfort wise for trail riding they would be the business, but I trail ride, do extreme uphill which requires U to pull down on the bar to stop the front wheel coming up and these grips get in the way of that. Down hill they are quite good as you have more of platform for your hand to rest on why you are braking hard. I use them on my commuter bike and I now get no aches as they compensate for the beating my hands get at the weekend, so indirectly they work for me
