Bought these last year and just got around to fitting the cleats on the ferry on the way to a touring holiday in Cork/Kerry in early May. Temperatures at night were down to 0 to 3 degrees but that was no problem while cycling. Excellent performance on and off the bike, with only a few adjustments needed to find the right fit. They look fine with whatever you're likely to wear in the evening for off-bike activities too, like going down to the local for a pint. You could comfortably make these the only footwear you have for your tour, so saving weight.
Can't recommend these enough; have my own pair for around five years now with near daily use April-October or so. Perfect for touring in hotter climates and very comfortable for the 200k of the Wicklow 200 sportive.
Bit at the sandal started to peel off while doing the Camino de Santiago in August but a bit of superglue sorted that and it has been fine since (now December.)
Wear them more than anything else and they have outlasted other cycling shoes.
I brought these two years ago and paid the full wack £60.00 - at 40 quid they are a bargin. They fit really well, a good platform for cycling on and keep your feet nice and cool. I use them for off roading, touring and commuting to work. They really are worth getting for those long hot summer rides.
