Our experience developing custom alloy tubesets over the last decade has been invaluable in perfecting our Form™ carbon frames.
Using only top quality carbon fiber and partnering with the best carbon specialists in the world, Rocky Mountain engineers, designs, and tests all of our carbon frames in house. Our carbon frames feature monocoque construction which is stronger than a tube-to-tube or lugged design and which also allows us to keep the weight extremely low.
We choose different carbon layups and weaves to fine tune the ride for different applications. For instance, we use 24 ton modulus carbon for Altitude RSL and Vertex RSL 50 and RSL 70 and 40 ton carbon for the Vertex RSL Team.
Altitude RSL
A shaped downtube to deflect rocks, an integrated seat collar clamp, and super light rocker links all showcase the engineering we've put into our Altitude RSL frame. Every tube shape was designed to maximize stiffness and minimize weight. Never before has a bike this light felt so good on rocky, rooty, and just plain nasty trails.
Straight up
We’ve got your back. With a first of its kind 76-degree seat angle, you’re in a position to defy gravity at every technical uphill climb. The Straight up geometry and its bio-mechanically correct seat position allows for maximum horsepower. Not only will you get an efficient ride, it’ll save your lower back and limits pressure on your “sensitive areas”... if you catch our drift.

super bike, owned mine for 7-8 months now and apart from having to set up the gears a few times everything has been perfect. The bike climbs and descends with ease and is by far the best I've ever rode (in comparison with Specialised, Turner and Santa Cruz). Very good price for such a high spec of bike. Totally worth the money
We've put together this guide to assist you in choosing the right size bike, and have tried to consider all the factors that will make your bike the best match for you!
There are three basic steps in the bike-sizing process:
1] Measure your dimensions accurately and carefully
2] Use the table to figure out what size will fit you best
3] Once your bike has arrived use our setup guide to adjust the components to fit you, and you're ready to ride!
What and how to measure up
The majority of our sizing guides take into consideration your height and inside leg as it gives you two points of reference to help choose the bike size from our guides.
All measurements are best taken in your bare feet and with the help of someone else.
Stand upright against a wall with your legs together and shoulders back.
Place a pencil on the top of your head and mark the wall, measure to the mark and take a note of your height in feet and inches.
To measure your inside leg, stand barefoot and measure from the floor, up the inside of your leg.
